U16's - Match Report (18/10/09)
Paignton - Home (Won 67-5)
A depleted Exeter Saracens entertained an as depleted Paignton side at Exhibition Fields on Sunday. Both sides had players injured and on Devon representative duties but in spite of this the game was played with real passion.
Sarries Dominated from the kick off and their players off loaded both before contact and through the the tackle. Their try's came from Huw Rosser (3), James Westlake (3), Ben Shires (3), Pip Arnold and stand in captain Jed Riglar. Rosser added the extra points with 6 conversions. Both sides played well and with in the spirit of the game. Although under the cosh Paignton never gave up and ended the game well. The final score being Exeter Sarries 67- Paignton 5.
Huw Rosser was the Sarries man of the match.
Sarries are now looking forward to their match this weekend against their in form rivals from across the city. On present form Chiefs must go in to the game as favorites.
Exeter Saracens had six players representing Devon at the weekend, with Matt Lloyd, Will Tavener, Ben King and Alec Wheatley playing in Devon "A" 17-10 victory against Gloucester "A" and Ben Boggis and Lewis Watts played in the 13 all draw in the "B" fixture.
