U13's - Match Report (13/09/09)
Okehampton - Home (Won 32-21)

This was a significant start of the season for the Sarries team as they had never beaten the visitors in the previous five years. That been said Saracens had to work hard to clinch the result. The victory was due to some fantastic running rugby and good hands from debutant fly half Zac Mattin and the ever present centre pairing of Ollie May and Harrison Elliott. There was another fine debut by wing man Harry Stoneman who bagged a brace of tries. Stoneman was also voted the home teams man of the match. Saracens number eight Toby Papp also played well with some driving runs and was also rewarded by two tries. Two further good performances were from open side flanker Micheal Winter who was all over the field making tackle after tackle and scrum half Harvey Ridgeway who capped off a good game with a try saving tackle in the dying minutes. The sarries final try scorer was wing Toby Hannam, full back Joe Winsor converted two tries and slotted over a penalty.
